We organised the dismantling and transport of a Caterpillar 994 wheel loader. Only a handful of these impressive quarry machines exist, as once assembled the machine weighs 172 tonnes.
Working with the teams from the local Caterpillar dealer, and with structural engineering studies from our KTX Engineering team, we found the solution to move this machine all the way to Germany. Several conventional and abnormal-load trucks were needed to bring every component safely to its destination.
