We have just completed the transport of one of the largest bulldozers in the Komatsu range, the D375. Weighing close to 80 t in running order, the machine was dismantled to bring it down to 60 t.
This exceptional move from France to Estonia was organised by our engineering office, allowing the transport to be carried out with no break in load. We obtained the abnormal-transport permits for every country crossed: France, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and finally Estonia.
For this journey of more than 3,000 km it took nerves of steel for our teams to reach their destination. At over 4.3 m high, nearly 3.5 m wide and 27 m long, the skill of our drivers was essential to see the mission through.
