May 2023 was punctuated by two exceptional convoys. Once fully dismantled, a Caterpillar 992K loader reached dimensions of 13 x 4.5 x 4.5 m for a weight of 85 t. The transport from France to the Netherlands went smoothly thanks to the feasibility studies carried out beforehand.
The other move was that of an ENTECO 500 drilling rig measuring 18 x 3.2 x 3.7 m and weighing 60 t, from France to Venice, Italy. It took six days and several structural studies in Italy to obtain the Italian permits. Passing through the Mont Blanc tunnel was necessary to complete this transport.
